There will be 40 BB EVO X turbochargers built. Beyond that availbility is very uncertain due to limited supply of Brand New EVO X turbochargers to rework into our product. We plan on doing 30 pieces as FP BLACK™, 5 pieces as FP RED™ and 5 pieces as FP GREEN™. Beyond this batch, there are no plans to continue to offer these pieces as NEW turbochargers.

Forced Performance is proud to announce the debut of our 100% brand new, patent pending, dual ceramic ball bearing design within the FP GREEN™ Turbocharger for the Lancer Evolution X vehicles. This new design virtually eliminates any limit to allowable thrust load within the turbocharger while simultaneously reducing drag and rotational resistance to spool up. The increased thrust limit significantly extends the longevity of the turbocharger when operated beyond its published flow and boost limits and eliminates the turbochargers sensitivity to lubrication interruptions due to hard acceleration and cornering forces. Recent performance testing at the MHI Research and Development Laboratories in Nagasaki, Japan verified that the design dramatically exceeds the normal allowable thrust loads for TD05/6 type turbochargers and allows for a significant increase in the available airflow from the turbocharger without bearing damage.

Internally very little is shared with any previously offered turbocharger anywhere in the world beyond the description of "ball bearing". This patent pending design is 100% blank page and will have an important impact on turbocharger bearing systems for years to come. The races and ceramic balls of the turbocharger are the highest grade components available anywhere, period.

From this point forward the standard journal bearing system will not be available for the FP GREEN™ Turbocharger for the Lancer Evolution X.

This unit features the 54lb/min 73mm HTA™ compressor wheel and a new 65mm revision of the high efficiency 67mm turbine wheel used in the FP RED™ for the Evolution X Turbocharger for the perfect combination of power and rapid spool. The FP GREEN™ for the Evolution X also comes standard with our huge 3" inlet elbow and surge ported compressor housing.

This turbo is covered by our 12 month complimentary repair service. You must activate this service within 30 days of purchasing this turbocharger by returning the registration card included with the turbocharger and a copy of your receipt if purchased from a supplier other than Forced Performance. Please contact us directly if you have any problems or questions regarding your turbocharger, dis-assembly of the turbocharger or running an external wastegate will exclude the turbo from complimentary repair service.

On my 08 Evo X GSR this small turbe made 525hp and 511tq on E85 at 33 psi of boost at Iveytune. This is on a Manley 2.2l stroker kit built and tuned by Iveytune. Full boost is achived by 4200 rpm. I was shocked by the results. Driving around it feels like a powerful v8 engine. I couldn't be any more satisfied by this combination.

Well I just finished my tuning and dyno runs and all I can say is WOW, its like having the stock turbo on steroids! I made 409whp and a flat torque line of 352wtq on a Mustang dyno. My car now feels like an N/A with power all the time. Not a single drop of the dreaded lag anywhere. I know with the other brand turbos they can't match the spool of the Green. With the 3" inlet and anti surge housing I was able to adjust my MIVEC settings pretty extreme and get this turbo on full boost by 2900rpm (stock cams) and 3200rpm (MX1's). Not done yet though, we decided to throw a little meth at this bad boy and see what happened. Running 90% meth and a 3gph nozzle up'd the power to 429whp and 366wtq. Now get this, both runs were at 25psi of boost! Gotta love those low boost power gains :) Once again the Green proves to be the ultimate pump gas turbo, thanks FP.
